SOFIA AND THE SOFIA WAY OF LIFE IN THE WORK OF THE WRITER KRASSIMIR DAMYANOV
RESUME
The article is an attempt to present the personality of the Bulgarian writer Krassimir Damyanov (1948 – 2015). His personal and creative growth is traced. The primary source is his prose literary work, his interviews for Bulgarian media and the personal impressions of the author of the article from his personality and from the time described (1969 – 1990). This is an attempt at a generational history of those born immediately after the end of World War II and an urban anthropology. Young people who listened to the Beatles and other Western rock bands of that time and behaved in a freedom-loving manner were called by conservative circles in the People's Republic of Bulgaria "Betles". Damyanov's environment is intellectual, Bohemian and creative. The writer describes his friendship with the Bulgarian artists Alexander Kandov, Vladi Kirov, Lyubomir Kanov and Viktor Paskov. As students and young professionals, they are representatives of the hippie subculture and the intellectual elite at the same time. In the capital city, these subcultural phenomena are extremely bright and dynamic. The natives of Sofia have their own cultural code. The citizens of Sofia have their own standard of living, the trademark of which is the way they go on vacation.

TOURIST ORGANIZATIONS IN SOFIA PART 1: FROM THE BEGINNING OF ORGANIZED TOURISM IN BULGARIA TO THE 1950S
RESUME
Since the earliest days of organized Bulgarian tourism, Sofia society has always taken on a leading role. The reasons for this social phenomenon are the immediate proximity and easy accessibility of the VitoshaMountain and the desire of Sofia intellectuals to keep up with modern pan-European tourism trends in the early 20th century. The tourist movement was initially seen as an elitist trend, typical of the urban culture, but gradually gained greater popularity among the wider Bulgarian society, thanks to the many newly founded organizations, uniting different social groups, according to their professional or personal interests.
